Come on, Paul. Antoine's playing better, but his next playoff game will be
his first. He has to talk more than any player in the league who hasn't
tasted the postseason. He made one all-star team. When I say Payton backs it
up, I mean he has accomplished something. He's been to the Finals, he's an
all-NBA player. Could Toine get there? Maybe, but he isn't yet.

And I agree on Payton. Anything short of Walker or Pierce, but that won't
get it done. He'd be perfect, but you'd have to include Walker or Pierce.

The unrealistic point guard I was hoping the C's would make a play for was
Jason Kidd, and I'd trade anyone on the roster--Walker and Pierce
included--for him. He's the best point guard in the league, still young
enough to have six or seven good years left, defends, thinks pass first,
rebounds and makes everyone around him better. The Suns would be foolish to
trade him, despite his recent legal problems.
