I would not bet $100 on anything, but then again I am not a bettor.(sp?)

My picking the losses against the Bulls and Hawks was not due to their being
back
to back, but rather that our team isn't a good road team. Could they beat
both
teams, yes. Is it possible that they could lose to the Hawks in Atlanta, I
think the fact that they lost to both teams already this year would say yes.
And with the Bulls, they have already lost to them, another loss on one of
the games they have left is not out of the question. Pick another game if
you prefer. The whole any team can beat any other team logic went in there.
 
At most I think they will win 13 games.  I also think that the team will
quit again
at one point of another. This team just makes me such a pessimist, I am
tired of hoping
every year they will get better and they don't. You are just getting my rant
in my normal
(at least for the past several years) mid season disappointment. 

Hey, don't get me wrong, if they make the playoffs, I will cheer. I would
rather that
they get the wins than not, it might make me like the NBA again. I just
don't think
that it will happen, no matter how much we want to "will" it to happen.

They may indeed be playing over their head but prediction that they will
lose back to back against the Bulls and the Hawks?!  I assume you went to
the extreme the other way just to prove a point.  I'll bet you $100 that the
Celtics do better than 9-24.  Are you in or do you just like to post
outrageous predictions (ironic because outrageous predictions were the
supposed reason for your post and then you type in 9-24!)?

I hope you take my bet because it will be something the list can watch with
interest the rest of the year.
