          Sixers' bus involved in accident; team delayed

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- The Philadelphia 76ers' bus was involved in a
three-vehicle accident in San Francisco on Wednesday, delaying the team's
arrival for its game against Golden State.

A team spokesman said two cars ran a red light and hit the bus shortly after
it left the Sixers' hotel in San Francisco. No one aboard the bus was
injured.

The accident, combined with heavy rain in the San Francisco Bay area,
prevented the players from reaching the arena in Oakland until 6:50 p.m. --
about 45 minutes before the game began.
