Look, you're not going to be happy unless I come out and say the Celtics are
going to be in the playoffs. If I say the Hawks, Nets and Wizards are going
to pass the Celts, you'll accuse me of being negative. If I say the teams
who already were ahead of us are still ahead of us, you'll accuse me of
being negative. It doesn't matter what I say, anyway. I hope you're right. I
hope the Celtics make the playoffs. But looking at it objectively, it's
going to be a tall order.

Mark,
All you are doing is looking at last year's standings and teams. You again 
are driving looking only in the rear view mirror. Anybody can do that. That 
is what most of the sportwriters also do when they make their projections. 
They do it because it is safer. It is like picking the tournament using only

the seedings. Yeah, the odds are that this year things will be the same as 
last year (just like you project with the Celtics). However, we also know 
that there will be changes. There always is. Step out and make some 
projections. I am projecting that Miami will still make the playoffs but
move 
down, the Knicks won't and the Wizards with Jordan won't....
