Re: Fascination with Foyle

George, I like your positive outlook but I don't expect a walk on to really
make much of a difference. We have been pounded the last couple of years.
Foyle is physical, and a shot blocker, something we don't have. I don't know
why we expect Battie to do anything he has not so far. He has lived up to
his "El Busto" nickname. Hell, Jerry West traded him for Travis Knight!
That is how much he though of his talent. This guy just doesn't bring the
intensity. I thought he would be a much better player in the NBA, but so far
has been a disappointment. Maybe moving him to #3 behind Blount may light a
fire under his ass. When guys like Camby and Rahim are getting 20 boards a
game on you, you have some problems inside. Rebounding is an attitude we
have not shown to possess. It is not like our centers are a threat, or can
take advantage of anyone, even a 40 year old Ewing! It looks like we will
live and die by the perimeter game. If we can't rebound we could be in for a
long season. I am not sure the 3 headed center will pan out. If no moves are
made, hopefully it will.
