T-wolf trade permutations

Here are some trades that are kosher as adjudicated by the realGM site
http://www.realgm.com/

I would expect any such deal would require more than a few of the C's #1
picks over the next 5 years (perhaps 2-3) in addition to 1-2 of this year's
coming draft. BTW any trades including Stith have to wait until the 27 of
Dec and any with Moiso until the 16 of Dec.

Why would Minn do any of these trades? Because the sanctions place them in
a bind - they most likely will be unable to make a deep run deep in the
playoffs before Garnett's contract expires and hence will very likely face
the possibility of losing Garnett. Swapping KG for a star or two of lesser
magnitude (and MUCH less salary) in addition to some top draft picks may
represent the best means of rescuing the team from a salary-cap induced
stagnation. (BTW one can read the heavy Stern penalty as retribution not
only for trying to evade the salary cap, but as pay-back to Minn for
'negotiating' Garnett's salary - which was a major factor that led to the
lock-out/salary cap - and *then* trying to evade the salary cap restrictions
that Garnett's outrageous salary imposed).

Boston would be favored in trade one or three, Minn heavily favored in trade
four, maybe a break-even with trade two (although wouldn't Vitaly's beef
perfectly complement Garnett's game?) although that depends on your estimate
of the future potential of Moiso, Battie and Vitaly. Perhaps handicap this
with the draft picks from this year (since it is supposed to be stocked with
big men) something along the lines of Battie and 2 picks from this year
versus Vitaly and one pick from this year.

Other permutations are certainly possible (amazing how Antoine's partial BYC
problem disappears when you're dealing with such big numbers) but I suspect
that Minn fans will either not be willing to trade or will ask for the moon
(i.e., Antoine and Pierce) which raises the question - why should Boston
trade merely to take Minn's place in salary-cap enforced mediocrity? Any
trade for Garnett would have to keep Pierce in Boston for it to be viable
from the Celts perspective. Anyone else would be available however - but
does Minn really want to take a chance on Battie, Moiso, Vitaly and draft
picks? How attractive is Twon?
