RE: Celts tanking

The Celts will not win many games if Stith plays 41 minutes and only shoots
4 times. This is too reminiscent of Cheaney. Granted, there are people
that have been specialists in other facets of the game (Michael Cooper on
defense) but they don't play 41 minutes or, if they do, their numbers are
better. Not blaming that on Stith but you can't have that many minutes with
that little production. What else? Pierce needs to focus at the stripe.
He should be an 85% ft shooter - instead it looks like he and Walker have
traded places at the stripe. Did VP start tonight? That might explain why
Battie's points and rebounds were down. Perhaps he sulked not being in
there at the beginning. If he did start, then we have to pray this was the
"off night" and not a return to last year.

Also, I supported drafting Moiso but not so he can log DNPs. I noticed
Alexander from Dallas has already had a 20 point game. I know, I know,
three years out (i.e. Nowitzki) but you gotta give the kid some playing
time.

I'm surprise by the rotations based on minutes played. Why does Carr only
play 1 minute and Griffin 15? Do the Celtics really need Brunson to play 38
minutes?

You can chalk up tomorrow as a loss with Walker and Pierce logging so many
minutes tonight and Herren being baptized by fire courtesy Mr. Iverson.

I'm expecting a loss of at least 15 points tomorrow. Hope for the best
expect the worst.

I'm still holding out hope for the season but I hope we're not seeing a
replay of last year's quick start only to fade quickly. This team can
definitely compete in this conference. I haven't seen a dominant team yet.

I do think people picked on Kenny a little too much and he is our 3rd best
offensive option - period and exclamation point but that doesn't matter now,
he's out til New Years.
