I don't think it was a silly statement.  I can think of at least two 
or three people, frankly.  A corollary point is that you never hear 
from the most negative of nabobs when the team does well.  From some 
people, there is no credit given when the team does well.  As Kestus 
pointed out, part of that is human nature.  And part of it isn't.
