I don't know if Bird would coach, but I bet most of those investors he says he has lined up are basketball people and if he didn't coach you can bet he'd hire an NBA coach. I wouldn't expect even Birid to turn them around in one year, either, but owner(s) that are basketball people instead of money people and a coach who is also an NBA coach or former player, or both, would be better than what we have now. I agree it would be nice if it were a former Celtic, and I'm also one of those Russell/Cousy era fans!
