Got off NG, just wondering what you guys thought.- Tony

Apparently after the Grizzlies lost to the Raptors today,
Abdur-Rahim
basically said hes had enough of losing. Grizzly management
is committed to
winning but cannot gaurantee Abdur-Rahim that they will be
in the playoffs
within the next two years and thus will trade Shareef at the
end of the
season. Right now, the Grizzlies seem most interested in
Antoine Walker,
however Keith Van Horn is also someone they are looking at.
When
Abdur-Rahim was asked where he would like to play next year,
he said
somewhere in the east close to his home in Atlanta. Grizzly
management
cannot gaurantee him a place close to Atlanta but will
definitely ship him
to a team in the east, to ensure he doesnt come back to
haunt them as often
as he would if he remained in the west.

I was watching CNN, and Peter Vescey will write an article
as soon as
Tuesday or Wednesday (the delay is because he wants to
gather more info)
about the Shareef situation in Vancouver. CNN said Boston,
New Jersey are
the front runners for the Shareef sweepstakes. Would you
the fans of Boston
do a trade which swaps Antoine for Shareef straight up? Im
a Vancouver fan
and I do not want this to happen for the Grizzlies, but I
have a very good
feeling it will happen simply due to Hollins' desire to
attain Antoine , who
is a very good friend of Hollins.
