Today I'm thanking my lucky stars that Portland turned down three No. 1
picks for Jermaine O'Neal, but three years from now, who knows? Jermaine
O'Neal may turn into Rasheed Wallace without the 'tude, Moiso could be a
bust and our picks the next couple of years could amount to nothing.
Remember when we all were furious that Pitino was considering trading 3&6
for Pippen? Would have been a good deal in hindsight. Then he was offering
Mercer and 10 for Olowokandi, which I completely endorsed at the time, but
as it turns out, it would have cost us Pierce for a project.

The point is, we just don't know. Time will tell.
