<Boston bidding wars- According to the Boston Globe: With Wednesday's draft
looking deeper everyday, the Celts are being hounded with offers for their
number 11 pick. ' We are exploring what is available out there for this pick,
no question about that,'' says Celtic GM Chris Wallace. ``Normally, deals
don't happen until the afternoon of the draft, or even that night. So it
could still happen.'' The Celtics reportedly have offered the pick to
Vancouver for 6-foot-9-inch forward Othella Harrington. Since the Celtics
would have to contribute a salary to match in the deal, Calbert Cheaney
likely would depart Boston. Harrington, who is unhappy as a Grizzly, would
become expendable if Vancouver selected Stromile Swift with the No. 2 pick.
But the Grizzlies are likely to get better offers. If the Celtics keep the
pick, they'll aim to nab the best player available regardless of position.
But right now the buzz word id trade. The Celtics' needs have been well
documented. Starting with a frontcourt defensive stopper who can block shots,
plus a backup point guard with size and maybe another scoring threat at
either SF or off-guard. With their lack of salary cap flexibility and a
decision pending on whether to re-sign free agent forward Danny Fortson, the
Celtics likely will have fix that problem through the middle class and $1
million exceptions later on. >

So we would trade CC and the 11 pick for Harrington. The Raptors would turn
around and take Tsak? Why wouldn't we just keep the pick and take Tsak?
Doesn't make alot of sense...
