Jersey Red: No Big Improvement For The Celtics

Pitino pal Jersey  Red was on 790 AM - The Score
in Providence this afternoon,  and a caller asked him about
the Celtics aquiring Tim Duncan. Jersey said Pitino goes
to bed every night thinking about Duncan (don't tell Mrs.
Pitino) but he's never coming to Boston.  "Never happen",
Jersey said, but the Celtics do have an interest in Jermaine
O'Neal and he's a player to watch.  Jersey further stated
that the C's will be a little improved next season, but nothing
dramatic, and seemed to indicate that no major deals were
planned for draft day.  Jersey also mentioned that Pitino
says scoring in the NBA will be up next season.
