there's no sure pick center) to get our "big man" in this draft. I would
be more agreeable to drafting Crawford(if he's really that good a pg),
courtney alexander(big time scorer but also a big time ball hog...hmmmm does
the name mercer ring the bell???? yikes), Mo Peterson, or even Donell Harvey
(if we want a Grant Long-hardworker type of a banger)! >>

crawford might be best suited for the team because he can play both guard
positions. he draws inevitable comparisons to fellow wolverine jalen rose,
but is more of a guard than a forward like rose has become. jamal also has
one of the largest upsides of all rookies and he has that awesome slick watts
headband.

alexander is also high on my list, but i am disappointed that people still
have the ballhog view of his that he has had in past seasons. courtney has
really matured as a player and a person due to his altercations and would be
a huge addition to this team. unlike mercer, he can hit the three
consistantly and is fairly unselfish. he worked out with nba players like
gary payton, reggie miller, and vince carter during his redshirt year at fsu
and they really helped him to understand what it takes to be a great player.
he is one of the few players in the draft who can immediately improve the
celtics.

harvey also has a lot of potential, but i don't think it would be wise to
select him so early with other more talented players available. look for the
lakers to pick him up as their "rodman on the court, but not off."
