Moiso, Thomas work out for C's

I like big guys that can shoot, because that opens up the middle
and that sounds like was Moiso would bring.

In preparation for this week’s draft camp, the Celtics had a
few possible draftees in for workouts, including Michigan State’s
Morris Peterson, UCLA’s Jerome Moiso and Syracuse’s Etan Thomas,
none of whom will probably play at the camp. Moiso is a possibility
for the Celtics because they need some kind of a presence inside.
Vitaly Potapenko isn’t stopping anybody from driving into the
paint on Boston, so Moiso or Thomas would be big pickups for
the defensive end. But Moiso is the more versatile of the two
if only because he has shooting range out to the three-point
line. Although he’s not running the same kind of offense as he
did at Kentucky, when anyone who stepped on the floor for the
Wildcats had the green light to shoot a three, coach Rick Pitino
is always happy to accommodate a big man who can shoot from outside.
And Moiso, who played just two years in college, certainly has
great potential to grow into a very good player. <<<<<<<<
