RE: numbers game

I've been thinking about this too. Assuming we carry a full fifteen man
roster
with three guys in street clothes, right now we are only looking at four
spots
opening up: Elison, Overton, Minor, and Fortson. Assuming we trade Fortson
for a first round pick, which is the best value in sports anyway, that
leaves us room for

Blount (Pitino: "we're going to sign him")
Workman or Jerome Allen or David Vanterpool (Overton's spot)
Mercer or Wahad or Hubert Davis or Chris Klack or JaRon Rush (Minor's spot)
Croshere or traded player (Fortson's spot)

I would like to see us move Dana so as to get a vet like Workman or Jackson
and a young buck like Allen
or Vanterpool; but the backup 2 is open to question. I would like to see us
keep JaRon Rush and pick up a
good vet like Davis or better still Ron or Wahad; but whose roster spot
will he take? I am not even counting
Josip Sesar.... I suppose it would help if we could cut or trade Cheaney,
but can we? How many shooting
guards are going to be on the roster?
