Immediately after guard Bob Sura arrived in Golden State,
coach Dave Cowens suggested that Sura might be his choice for starting
point guard over Mookie Blaylock. "I'm thinking about him in the
running game," Cowens said. "Get the ball up the floor and take
shots, not milk the clock."
