I was really enthusiastic when the C's hired RP as coach.   He has been
successful everywhere he has gone and there are very few coaches that can
show that on their resume.   I remember when he first went to Kentucky they
were on probation and had a very poor team.  He had them shooting 3 pointers
like crazy and I believe they finished near .500.

However, this year has been very discouraging and this team has shown very
little progress over the past 3 years.   I'm not blaming Walker for this
either as some others here do.   He is  a good player that sometimes doesn't
play to his strenghths.   This team is not jelling at all and I think the
rest of this season will be a continuation of the start of the season.    It
looks like to me that this team will be the first Pitino team that hasn't
shown remarkable improvement.    It seems like we're just treading water.
