Re: sick of losing to the WORST teams...

I don't know what your problem is but I will say this. It is only fair, in
my eyes anyway, for those who only post after we lose, to give credit when
we win. You say you are happy when we beat Miami, Sacto and Indy, but you'd
never know it, cuz when we lose, the coach should be fired. The same coach
who was there when we beat some of the elite teams in the league, you want
dumped because we have poor consistency. That's a joke because it happens
every night in this league. Last night, the Clippers beat Indy, NJ beat
Miami, Denver beat Charlotte, Cleveland beat the Knicks etc. Should all
those coaches be fired too? Have you ever coached anyone? If so, you know
that they do not always play to the capabilities. That's just how human
beings are.

You can post whenever you want. If you choose to post only after losses, it
will be pointed out. You can change that if you want but you don't have to.
I am not requesting anyone not to post or to post. I picked up on, as have
others, that some of you post only after a loss and are curiously silent
when we beat some of the good teams. It gives people the impression that
you are neglecting to give credit for the good efforts. That's all.

I won't even dignify the rest of your post cuz it's foolish.

Why do you say we aren't happy about the team's success? Where do you get
this thing? So what if we just keep quiet and just read other list members
rejoicing comments? Fine, if you want everybody to post something after
every win then let's request it, OK? And you request everybody not to post
anything when we lose... Well, what kind of list will this be? A Cecil
Wright list?

Of course, we are joyed by winning against Miami, Sacramento,
Indiana...but we also don't want to get our hopes up as it would be more
disappointing if ever we lose to mediocre teams.(well, it's all happening
now) Honestly, when the season started, I only posted after we were 3-0. I
really acknowledged and praised the teams success that time. And then we
lost to a 0-4 Detroit and then to another winless Chicago... that's when I
started to think twice or doubt of our teams success for the season because
of our inability to get the job done.

So what is it to you if we don't post when we win? You can't judge and
generalize everybody's thinking or feelings because you think so... How
would you feel if we thought you are Pitino's lover...?

That's your opinion, and you are entitled to it. I happen to look at it
in another light. No team I've ever had the pleasure to coach has ever
jelled together as quickly as you want the Celtics to. Like it or not, it
takes time. It is inescapable. How long did it take the Chicago Bulls to
win their first title? Was it in Jackson's first few years as their coach?
Was it in Jordan's first 5 years in the league? Whether it's getting old or
not, it is the truth. Look out in Utah. They still haven't won and it took
them some time before they became perennial playoff contenders.

In the NBA, it doesn't happen overnight. And now, we must suck it up
without Griffin for a while. It is easy to give up and constantly bemoan
them when they look bad (like last night) but, respectfully I ask, where
were you when they played well against Sacto?

Last night, in addition to Grif going down, VP could barely hold on to
any ball he got his hands on, Pierce had a dismal game from the floor. He
also appears at times to suffer from Merceritis. Fortson, though many think
he's 100% healthy, is still far from game shape which is why RP can only
play him in short spurts. And Toine, is Toine. You know what you're
getting with these guys. They are young and need to mature. It's a fact of
life. I could technically dissect each member of this team from purely a
coaching perspective but I know what Pitino is trying to do and it takes
time.

You can keep this kind of posting pattern if you like, but when it comes
together, we won't hear from you too much and it's not as far down the road
as you seem to think.

Patience, this is gettin old also. Patience won't improve this outfit.
More like patients. Pink slip's will. In case many of you lost track of the
term, because of the good economy, it means getting fired, dumped, wasted.

Regarding comments from those who mainly post only when we lose, see
below. No post after a decent win, but a loss on the road on the back half
of two straight, with the second on the road isn't mentioned. The return of
Kukoc isn't mentioned and he is obviously a difficult matchup.

We beat a very good team last night, lose to a team who have now won
3 straight and are definitely improving, who have added a decent shooter in
Maloney, and Pitino should be fired? I love hearing people say stuff like if
the players are consistent, it's the fault of the coach. That is such a load
of crap. The players miss foul shots and the coach should be held
accountable. What about the player? Does he bear any responsibility? If it's
all the fault of the coach, why has Toine taken so much heat from this list.
When Toine sucks, it is up to him to get out of it, not the coach. It is up
to the coach to point out the weaknesses to the player and give him/her
points of emphasis to improve or correct the skill. But a coach cannot will
a player into not making bad passes or turnovers, as they are part of the
game and always will be.

Those who are looking for consistency, at this point, will be
greatly disappointed. It takes time. Apparently more than some of you are
willing to wait.

What the heck is goin on???!!!
We beat a good team and then we lose to a very bad or worst team
in the league!

this is embarrasing because it already happened twice against the
same Chicago team and Pitino and the charges didn't learn anything from the
first loss. Are the players intentionally making Pitino look bad? Maybe. Or
is Pitino just not up to the task? Most probably. If we're so inconsistent,
then it's the coaches task to motivate and condition every players minds in
every game.

I'm sure Pitino has excuses of, "Oh, we didn't pass the ball
around..."
"Oh, our players need consistency and maturity...", " Oh, we are
blah blah blah..."
I can only say he talks a lot of bull.

I was hoping that my prediction of 32 wins and no entry to the
playoffs would be wrong but it's already kinda goin towards that and it
sickens me.

Patience is a virtue...but the teams' showing is simply
sickening!!! WE DEFINITELY NEED TO CHANGE THE COACH!!!
