I don't know about Bird coming back, but how about somebody convincing
Ricky that the job at UCLA is just what he needs. Big-time college program
in a big-time city. Ricky goes back where he belongs. He gets to scream at
kids all day long. They listen. He gets to turn another "college" program
around and then in a few years, when it's apparent the Lakers aren't going
to win it all and Jerry West finally quits, Ricky gets to really screw up
the Lakers. Sounds like a plan to me.

OK, wouldn't it be funny if Alvin Williams and Sean Marks for Danny Fortson
turns out to be the best deal the Celtics could've made? Pretty funny, huh?
