re: possible trade scenarios

Re Tom Murphy's post --

I assume that Jim Jackson makes $6 million a year, and not $2, which doesn't sound right. Either
way, it's less than I thought. If he makes six, Dana and Pervis would fit his money ideally. Snap him
up and put him to work at guard. Move Adrian to the bench, and Pierce to three. (Personally, I
prefer Pierce at shooting guard, but it would be great to have another bona fide scorer out there --
or would it?). Either way, Jackson is a proven commodity, and we could always trade him for a
Nowitski-type player down the road, or better still a Greg Anthony-type player.

The problem with the team isn't the talent anyway. Realistically, we're not going to get a
significant upgrade without a high lottery pick in a very good year. The guys can all play,
they just don't bring it every night. No one knows why.
