I think a lot of people seem to overrated the value of players like Fortson
a foul prone 4, and even Ron Mercer a two guard with no shooting range. If
they really had value don't you think we would have accepted better offers ?


As far as the Mercer & Billups draft  this was a weak draft, with the
exception of  Duncan & Van Horn I think the next 5 guys drafted have changed
teams some 2 times. Rumors have had Van Horn moving on due to Jersey not
being happy. Could RP have traded these picks for a veteran ? Maybe , maybe
not. I think a lot of people expected more out of Billups, Mercer Tim
Thomas, Battie, and Antonio Daniels.
