Precisely.  It eliminates the need for a third player for one position (e.g. 
Edney, Overton) and adds flexibility to the rest of the roster.

What troubles me is that there are a lot of people saying that he is not a 
point guard.  If that's the case, what use is he?  I sure hope that's not 
the case.
