Return of the press

Mark Berry made the good point about the potential return of the press.
The disadvantages of the press are that you give up high percentage shots
and you foul a lot. Guess what? The Celtics already do that! So why not
generate turnovers and disrupt the other team's plans while you're at it?
The rules change also supposedly make it harder to defend in the halfcourt 
so you would think that pressing would be relatively more sensible too. 

One thing about the press is that it tends to beat bad (young) teams, who
tend to make poor decisions under pressure. It seems that this year we 
seem to play pretty poorly against those crappy teams.

I don't think it's going to be a "first-unit/second-unit" type of press
either, but maybe the primary press unit would be Battie, McCarty, Cheaney,
Pierce, and Alvin Williams. Everyone is 6'5" or better with long arms and
athleticism.
