Sixers' rumor mill

More evidence for the theory that the 76ers are actively disseminating
rumors in the media. Randy Wittman, coach of the Cavaliers responded to 
rumors of a Kemp-Ewing trade by saying, "You know how things get started.
Philadelphia started a lot of rumors." Interesting...

The folks at NBAtalk gleefully note how the local media in both Boston
and Indiana picked up on their hypothetical trade scenario and
reported it as if it was based on truth. I guess it's not important to
these reporters to actually disclose such minor details such as the
fact that they know it's not true.
