I agree. He wanted and was given full control, so he can't blame anyone else
for the decisions made. Unless we up the level of our performance for a
considerable period, Pitino, Walker and maybe Pierce will all be gone at
year end. That is if we can get someone to take a contract like Walker's.

It has been obvious for years to many of us that the press just won't work
in the NBA against good teams. College philosophies have proven to be
useless in the NBA. Ask Tarkanian, Westhead, Calipari, and add Pitino to the
list. Too bad we passed on Cowens and Brown.

Cross our fingers for landing Eddie Griffin and maybe Heywood, Chandler or
Curry, or make a move for a PROVEN veteran if there is such a thing these
days.
