Re: Pitino lost Pacer game

I know you're pissed DJ but we did come back late in the game and IIRC cut
the double digit deficit to 2. I even thought we had it tied at one point.
So I don't think it's fair to say the game was over early because he played
scrubs early in the game. Starters have to get a rest once in a while and
since Toine and Pierce played 45 minutes, he probably figured it would be
less costly early in the game rather than later. In that case I agree with
him.

If we weren't plagued by injuries at the PG position, this conversation
would not even be heard. Getting Kenny and Herren healthy will do wonders
for this team. A 3 headed rotation of those 2 plus Randy Brown who will be
able to go all out every second while on the floor will improve the team I
think.

Travis Best was unconscious and we made silly turnovers. Still we were in
the ball game midway through the 4th quarter even after the questionable
early substitutions you alluded to.
