Early Outlook

Yes, without a doubt the short term team building effort by Pitino hasn't
done well. We all know it takes time to develop a team to play as a team.
If Battie can continue to make the effort, along with Stith, the team will
be competitive this season. Not playoff calibre but a better team than last
season fundamentally, and that's not saying much. I don't see Anderson
making the team any better at this point. With the soft early schedule we
should be in better shape in the standings, but we're not. I am happy with
some of the teams success to date but not optimistic for the balance of the
season. We are seeing a pinhole at the end of the tunnel.
