Pitino poor talent evaluator

Well one of the reasons Pitino was brought here was so he might draw some big names. So far he has struck out big time, and his poor decisions on contracts for Knight, McCarty, Cheaney, Battie,and Williams again, have killed us cap wise.  He and Wallace have shown literally no ability to evaluate talent.

 

Unless something big happens we will have another lottery bound year and he is gone as the media will crucify him.

 

I don't know anything about Blount, Brown does provide a decent veteran backup and I seem to remember him playing decent D.

 

Why couldn't we have moved Pierce and Fortson in a package for Jones , Ricky Davis & Mason ?

 

Jones is as good a scorer as Paul and better defender, Mason a thug inside, Davis a possible Mcgrady like star.

 

 

Derek Anderson seemed not to want anything to do with Boston, which contrary to what some believe, seems to be the case for many.

 

Hopefully he can pull off a Fortson for Marshall deal but I am not expecting it to happen.

 

I heard the Mcgrady signing was a sign and trade for Harpring ? How could this be ? Harpring makes nothing near what they will sign Mcgrady for ?
