Bulpett: Walker may not be captain

Antoine Walker may not be retaining his captain's role. Pitino said
yesterday he will leave the matter open until he speaks with the team
about it.

``I haven't even talked about captains,'' the coach said. ``Somewhere
down the road, I'll probably say to the players, `Do you want to keep
Antoine? Do you want to add to him? What do you want  to do?' I'll let
them decide.

``I decided early on because we were trying to get 'Toine to step up and
mature.''
