pervis

Perhaps the biggest surprise last night was the play of Pervis Ellison.
Besides the initial shock of actually seeing him on the court,
he actually looked like he had a clue out there. He had a few nice
rebounds, and I remember he ran the floor on a break and was the recipient
of a nice feed from Turner, which he finished.

Truth is, Pervis can rebound when he's healthy. He has long arms, and has
a decent nose for the ball. I wish he would cut that damn hair, but as
long as he's working out there, let it grow. I believe he can be a decent
backup center this year to Potapenko and see some quality minutes off the
bench.

I agree with you guys on Fortson. When we have Pot and Pervis, he should
only be playing power forward. This also goes for Tony Battie, who I
believe can do some damage at power forward.
