Forbes ranks Celts 10th in value

FWIW, Forbes Magazine rates the Boston Celtics as the 10th most
"valuable" NBA franchise with a worth of around US$187 million. Funny, I
thought that was how much Antoine was worth. :-)

The Celts rank ahead of such teams as the championship Spurs (14th),
Rockets (15th), the Pacers with their beautiful "retro" stadium (12th),
sunny Miami and Orlando (17th, 18th), not to mention the future
championship contending hopefuls Kings (19th), T-Wolves (21st) and
Hornets (25th).

The parsimonious Boston Bruins hockey team is valued even higher than
the Celts at US$197 million, or 3rd overall in the NHL behind the NY
Rangers and Philly Flyers.
