Oh, the problem with Ron wasn't that he wasn't willing to put up
shots. Quite the opposite really. Actually I was reading the Sporting
News team report for Denver and the reporter noted how Mercer just
basically never passes.

Paul and Antoine, before this game, had been essentially equal parts
of the Celtics offense in terms of shots taken and points scored,
which I think is about right. Hopefully the issue will never come up
about whether Paul is assertive because the offense, through good ball
movement and decision making, should determine who gets the shot
(basically, whoever's in the best position to score) rather than any 
particular attitude of Paul's. I don't like to see him take it 
one-on-one any more than I like Antoine doing it, though when they're
on either of them can dominate.
