He had a fight with Pitino in college. He transferred. It was all about a lack
of playing time. In college if I remember the interview correctly enough Rhodes
got about as much playing time under Pitino as Wayne Turner did but when he was
in a different system he really blossomed.
Something to remember about Rick Pitino's system; it favours the bigger guard
lineup with a taller player being the main ball handler - eg. when Kentucky won
their championship with Antoine Walker and co, it was Derek Anderson (6'5") who
was the man.
