Peter must have meant in a basketball sense, which is true.  I said much the 
same thing recently in a post ("Greg Minor will never play for the Celtics 
again").  It's too bad because he really worked hard to fit in under Pitino, 
but he's definitely way behind on talent now, even if he comes back 100%.  
Maybe there's a nicer way of saying it, but I couldn't come up with any.
