Wizards win

That will be the really nice thing about this team, if guys alternate in
stepping up and opponents can't tell who they should worry about!

I can't tell you guys how happy I am for Potapenko. I have been a big fan of
his since he was with Cleveland, and I've read a million snide comments in the
media about, "The Celtics won't go anywhere with Potapenko." Sports writers
don't seem to realize that nobody asks this guy to be Shaquille O'Neal, they
just need him to put a big body on defense and clear out for rebounds. Where
would we be with skinny old Andrew DeClercq in there? A game like this not
only boosts Vitaly's confidence, but it reminds his teammates to look for him
in future games and prompts opponents to have to worry about him. He may not
score 20 again this season, but it's nice to remind everyone he can. (Besides
the low number of fouls, Pots also had only 2 turnovers).

Great to see reports of Eric Williams' demise are greatly exaggertaed, though
I would have liked to have seen him get a few more minutes. The 5 rebounds
impress me almost as much as the 18 points (he had 10 by halftime, I believe).
Also nice to read in the Post article about Cheaney's teammates pulling for
him. Hopefully it will come.

One last note, I really like the Red Auerbach ceremony, along with bringing
Russell and Cowens back. Pitino is very smart to let his young players get an
up-close look at what made this dynasty so special.
