Thank God, it's over.
The Lakers, top to bottom, are in shambles. A team, a tradition, a history,
an organization, in ruins in the aftermath of a shameful pathetic Laker
season. Even the Fabulous Forum itself is now put out to pasture, the ghosts
of its past glories which lived among the rafters having slunk away into
nonexistence; its final moments as the Laker's kingdom punctuated by booing
and chanting for a traded favorite.
Clearly, the fans knew that it just wasn't supposed to end this way.
If you're expecting me to start assigning blame, or to debate whether Rambis
should get a shot at coaching, or to critique or analyze the personnel, or
to wonder if KD still thinks the Charlotte trade was a good idea, or even to
ponder Jerry West's future, I'm sorry to disappoint you. Right now, I just
don't have any of that in me. All I've got is a big dark empty shivering
bleeding aching hole where my Laker pride used to be before it was torn out
by the roots.

Anyone know how the Dodgers are doing this season?
