Re: Celtics To Have Five Kentucky Players On The Team Next Season? -Reply

I wouldn't become violently ill, as nothing is set in stone. These are
all possibilties. It's possible Pitino could deal for Brown and
Mashburn, since he's had discussions with Miami in the past about those
two players and it appears Mercer will be dealt.

Wayne Turner makes sense as a second round pick if Kenny stays since he
brings a defensive dimension to the point guard position that Anderson
and Barros lack. But, Turner could be drafted by someone like the
Lakers
in the late first round, and not be available, or Mercer could be dealt
for
a point guard. This is Pitino we're talking about after all.

Delk as a scorer/three-point shooter coming off the bench seems like a
positive addition at an affordable price, especially if Dana Barros is
dealt. I fully expect either Anderson or Barros to be moved during this
off season. Barros is at the peak of his value, and easier to
trade than Kenny, so he may be Pitino's latest victim.
