RE: Peter May TSN Celtics Report

I would not make this move, Williams may not be worth Battie straight up,
let alone Barros. Although I have not been a big Barros fan, but Dana
played very well this year and can be an excellent scoring sixth man off
the bench, and even played point better than Anderson this year. I still
see Mercer & Anderson going, if we can move him, (still dreaming of Payton
forcing a trade) Battie could go for Lorenzen Wright. The key question
is is Antoine better suited for the 3 or 4 spot ? Not the physical player
for the 4, but not quick enough for the 3. Mercer will probably ask too
much so will probably be moved. If a Baron Davis is available could he go
for a high draft pick ? I have heard Pitino say we don't need any more
youth, but it may be batter to teach the youth than to teach an unwilling
old dog new tricks.

Whoever has the early exit out of Miami & New York will look to make some
moves. I think Riley has been disappointed in Hardaway lately ?
