I've always said Walker is better suited to the small forward spot, and the
reason is because he SHOULDN'T have to throw up so many threes. At the 3 spot,
he will be physically dominating most small forwards. He should be able to post
them up at will and actually finish some of those nice post moves because he
won't be so easily bumped off course by smaller players. I've always believed
that you win with size and strength in the NBA and, with a few rare exceptions,
that has been borne out over the years.

At one time, Pitino wanted Antoine to develop
a Karl Malone-esque body, but as is so often the
case with Il Duce, that has done a 180. Now
according to Michael Holley in today's Globe,
Pitino wants Walker to be more like Scottie
Pippen in stature, something Walker apparently
prefers as he "didn't like Pitino's previous Karl
Malone suggestion..."
So, for those of you out there with fantasies
of Walker bulking up and playing the power
forward position - forget about it. Walker
is heading to the 3 - probably to toss up a
lot of threes.
