Secure Coach

I was just thinking how positive it can be to have a secure coach. 
Look what happened to Calipari.  If Pitino were summarily jerked after
this streak, I think we would be much worse off.  Sure there are
experienced hands (Cowens, Jackson) who could step in and do a good
job, but Pitino is part of the fabric here and he should be a part of
the revival of the Celtics.  It just underscores that it's not the
players or the coach but the timing, the youth, the lack of practice,
a bad apple??, it's complex and needs time to resolve.

I think the bad egg might be Riley, but it doesn't make sense to
consider him so important.  If it's Pierce, then Pitino might have
seen a "me first" or a "quitter" attitude that he won't work with.  I
don't know.  It was an unfortunate statement, made out of despair,
without enough sleep, etc.  More than shouting, that can hurt the
team, especially since he can't make trades for months.

Good cheer to all.  This season of despair won't last.  I still think
our guys are quite talented and will learn to win.
