While I sign my posts with the simple name George it is followed in real life
by the surname Kerney. I live on Long Island, breed & show Maine Coon cats and
I supervise potato chip routes in Brooklyn, NY. Been a Celtics fan as long as
I can remember (and that goes back to when #6 manned the paint for the C's),
always hated the Knicks, wouldn't mind if the Nets moved back to Long Island
(so I could see the Celtic games without going to NJ).

I don't advocate dumping our players (except Pervis) but if a trade brings an
upgrade I'm all for it. This season is a tough format for a young team so I'm
hoping that some home cooking will help even out the record (I predicted 26
wins) but if not I think next year will be a much better season. I'm not
convinced that either Walker or Mercer are superstars in the making but I'm
not convinced that either is a bust. I think Pierce is the real deal but let's
remember he's a babe in the woods here. I've been pleasantly surprised by VP
but reserve the right to get on his back! ;)  Kenny is Kenny. He can be
frustrating but I think that will work itself out. He's been better since VP's
been here. That said I would trade him in a heartbeat for an upgrade BUT there
aren't many available.

BTW Temple's Coach Chaney was talking about Lamar Odom on the local radio talk
show and said that he is "more advanced than Magic Johnson was at the same
age". Maybe he should be our target if we somehow won the lottery.
