Holy Sh-t!

Here's what Sports Illustrated is reporting:

"Clippers veteran Rodney Rogers told the team he will not re-sign when he
becomes a free
agent this summer, so the Clippers talked to the
Celtics about a Dana Barros -for-Rogers swap
before settling on forwards Tony Battie and Bruce
Bowen , but the league informed them
that the trade could not go through, because a player
who has been acquired within the past 60
days (Battie) can't be packaged in another deal ."

What do people think about this?? I have a hard time seeing Rodney Rogers
fitting in with us. He's a classic tweener, not big or beefy enough to play
full-time PF (career average of just 4.5 rpg in 27 minutes). I'd be happy to
be rid of Dana's salary but don't think we should part with him unless we have
another outside shooter and backup PG to replace him (and I don't mean Marlon
Garnett). And I would HATE to lose Bowen, who to me seems like the second
coming of Michael Cooper. What is Pitino thinking about here?
