Celtics Say Bye Bye Miss American Pie To Minor Deal

Steve Bulpett reports in today's Boston Herald that the
Celtics could have moved Greg Minor before the trading deadline.
Miami was his proposed destination with the Celtics receiving
Dom MacLean from Seattle in a three-team deal that would have fetched
the Sonics: Duane Causwell and Terry Mills.

Not the brightest of trades for C's since MacLean carries a larger
contract than Minor and spends unending amounts of time on IR.
So, fortunately it didn't occur.  However, Minor shouldn't
feel too secure, as Bulpett notes, the Celtics are confident they
can move him out this summer, when he'll have two years left
on his contract at $2.88 and $3.24 million.
