Remember, Jordan wasn't really a jump shooter when he first came up. 
That is where hard work and practice comes in.  Give Mercer some time. 
Kobe is still going to have to show he can play when the pressure is on.
He does have a lot of talent.  The next Jordan tag may be his albatross.
