Potapenko Set To Sign Extension Today

The Globe's Michael Holley reports it will be in the
range of $33 million for the next six years. There
are also incentives included, such as a 10 rebound
per game clause.

In case you're wondering why Potapenko didn't see much
time in the fourth quarter of the Pistons game, well,
it's because Pitino wanted to go with his set offense,
and of course, Potapenko does not know Pitino's system
yet.

Perhaps Pitino should have continued with his un-set
offense, at least Potapenko would have provided an
inside scoring threat....

As far as the lottery watch goes, the Celtics currently
have the ninth worst record.
