Yes sorry for the horrendous mistake.  Gill was the guard if my recollection
is correct, but obviously this is a horrible assumption.  

In light of this Rice is my new favorite player and I feel we should trade
Mercer, Dana, Popeye and who else we can throw in, because Rice could take
us to the promise land, if he is going to definitely bring a title to LA.  I
can't accept this happening, so the Celtics must throw themselves on this
impending NBA "grenade" and save the league from the Fakers making NBC's
dreams continue to come true.  Because no one for sure can take Bob Costas
getting his way again this year.  Of course you know this trade is being
orchestrated by the league, ala an WNBA type deal, for the betterment of the
league in the fallout of the lockout.  Why they are not making Charlotte
trade him to NY, to assure Patrick getting a ring, is beyond me, must be his
union stance overshadowing his handshake deal back on draft day after the
first lottery "prize" being handed to the Knacks.  Grudges die hard around
here you know.

Wasn't Rice traded from Miami to Charlotte
for Mourning?  Or am I confused?  Sure the Lakers 
could slip up, and the deal may not go through, but 
you gotta give them credit for trying.  They're not 
waiting to after July 1.
