I'm with you, Dorine.  Let's keep Mercer (and Pierce and Walker).  We might
not have all the pieces yet, but these guys are all young and extremely
talented.  If we get lucky next year or the year after next, we might pick
up a couple more players that will fill our needs.  If so, everyone better
watch out!

As for tonight's game, Mercer had an outstanding game.  Walker and Pierce
their usual solid contributions.  I would also like to add that Greg Minor,
who is frequently dissed on this list, had an excellent game.  Minor is the
Rodney Dangerfield of the Celtics.  He don't get no respect.  IMO, he's a
solid backup to Mercer, and usually can be depended on to contribute
effectively.  He's got good size for a 2 guard, is a decent defender, has a
good medium to short range jumper, and gets a respectable amount of rebounds
for the minutes he plays.  Anyone else out there willing to give the dude
some respect?
