     Last year, much the same was being said about Antoine Walker, and there 
was a steady murmer on this board that went like this:  "Everyone assumes 
he'll ask for the max, but has anyone heard him ask for it?"  Well, he did, 
of course, but the point remains.  How do we know Mercer will demand the max? 
 How do we know if he will get it anywhere?  The new CBA is still an unknown 
factor here.  Everyone breathed a sigh of relief that we could get Walker for 
"only" 71 mil.  But teams still have to watch the cap, and the cap is lower.  
I'd like to see him stay, but he is probably our best trade bait, and if you 
want to catch a fish, you need bait.
     Finally, I don't care who gets drafted #55.  Or even #47.
