A comment about Mercer

In some ways, seeing Pitino trade Mercer might be an indication that Pitino
is finally serious about returning the C's to the playoffs.  My reason for
thinking that way is this:  Pitino has for two years tried to build an all
UK team.  Trading Mercer might mean he finally realizes that won't work.

With that being said, I don't see the upside to trading Mercer and ending
up with a #5 pick for him.  That pick will present the same problem the
Celtic's front office thinks Mercer now presents; a solid player who will
demand 'Toine money.

Keep Mercer, A.W., and Pierce.  Build around those pieces.
